TGS Imaging Announces Multi-Functional Exploration Software Suite PRIMA 8.0

PRIMA's core modules for integrated seismic processing, multi-volume AVO analysis and advanced time and depth imaging continue to develop based on the needs of TGS and its clients.
Release highlights of version 8.0 include new features, key functionality improvements and enhanced workflow integration along with a new add-on module for 2D interpretation.
The new Project2D Prosys add-on module enables 2D seismic imaging, loading and interpretation of multiple datasets in a familiar interface. Project2D adds map view functionality that displays 2D line projection and links to existing time, depth and gather modules in true XY coordinates.
Other improvements in PRIMA 8.0 include the ability to save and restore sessions, job deck replication, memory usage beyond 2 GB, cross-correlation, wrap scale, superGather3D and support for 64-bit architecture.
