Azbil Provides Long Term Support Of Legacy Control Systems To ExxonMobil

TOKYO, Japan -- The Azbil Corporation (formally known as Yamatake-Honeywell) is providing long term support to ExxonMobil for its use of TDC2000-based control systems. Azbil is a co-developer and a co-owner of the TDC2000 technology and intellectual property (IP).

Azbil offers a complete support program to help users protect their existing control system intellectual property, avoid obsolescence, increase reliability and remove the time pressure to make decisions relative to complete system migration.

To provide long term support program to TDC2000 system users, Azbil has begun to offer newly designed electronics that utilize advanced components and circuit designs to reduce both the number of components on the card (to enhance reliability and decrease power consumption) and the number of different cards required (to reduce spare parts requirements).
