Bri-Chem Expands Into Liquid Drilling Mud Blending And Storage In US

Bri-Chem Corp., a leading North American wholesale distributor and manufacturer of oil and gas drilling fluids and steel pipe, has announced it has further expanded its operations in the U.S. drilling fluids market by installing its first synthetic liquid mud blending plant and storage tank facility at the Leetsdale, Pennsylvania warehouse.
Bri-Chem's growing U.S. customer base requires a synthetic based drilling fluid which is critical and interrelated part of the drilling operations in this region. The majority of the oil companies are now adapting to using a central liquid mud facility, where the storage, handling and mixing are performed. Bri-Chem's new liquid mud facility will distribute synthetic liquid drilling mud via road tanker to the various rig sites.
