DENVER, Colo. -- NEOS GeoSolutions, Inc. has announced it has secured underwriting for a multi-client, integrated geological and geophysical program in Colorado, the second project NEOS has undertaken in the state this year. This newly announced neoBASIN project covers 3,000 square miles over the Denver-Julesburg (D-J) Basin, a sedimentary basin that reaches its deepest point near Denver and then extends northward into southeastern Wyoming and the western parts of Kansas and Nebraska.

PhotoSat Completes Highly Accurate Satellite Topographic Mapping Of Oil Search’s Taza Block In Iraq

PhotoSat has announced it has completed satellite topography mapping of Oil Search’s Taza Block in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, using stereo satellite photos from the high-resolution Pléiades 1A and 1B imaging satellites. Pléiades 1A and 1B are the world’s newest 50cm resolution satellites.

TGS Commences Multi-Client 2D Survey Offshore Northwest Alaska

HOUSTON, Tex. -- TGS has commenced acquisition of a 2D multi-client survey in the Chukchi Sea off the northwest coast of Alaska. The Chukchi Sea 2D 2013 survey covers approximately 8,000 kilometres and builds on the existing Chukchi Sea (CSR-06) survey acquired in 2006 in Russian waters and the AWI Chukchi Sea (AWI08) survey acquired in 2008.

TGS Announces 3D Multi-Client Onshore Survey In South Central Alberta

CALGARY, Alta. -- TGS, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Arcis Seismic Solutions, announces a new 3D multi-client onshore survey, Three Hills East, covering 150 square kilometres (58 square miles) in the south central plains of Alberta. The Three Hills East survey is designed to evaluate multiple zones from the Devonian (Nisku), the Mississippian (Banff and Pekisko) and the Cretaceous (Ellerslie and Ostracod) in the newly emerging Duvernay play.
